Marketing Tips that Work

1. Be Prepared: Always be ready to talk about your project and all its merits. Understand that you may have just a few moments to tell your new contact about the film and ask for their help in getting the word out. Be brief, be engaging, and be professional. Make sure your website, Myspace, Facebook, LinkedIn, business card or other promotional tools are up to date..

2. Make the Connection: If you make a new contact be sure to get their contact information (e-mail, website, telephone) and give them yours. Don’t assume the friend of a friend who put you in contact will do so again.

Call For Submissions

We are accepting submissions until Monday, May 5th. We are looking for films by African filmmakers and/or set in Africa. Each filmmaker may submit only one project for review.
